What are the characteristics of malleable steel pipe fittings?
Jianzhi malleable steel pipe fittings have many advantages such as excellent material, good toughness, low rate of trachoma, deep thread, etc. Masteel strictly controls product quality, from material control to packaging inspection, to achieve the best product performance.
We adopt the dual smelting technology of blast furnace smelting and electric furnace adjustment. The element content of each ladle of molten iron is tested by a spectrometer, and the temperature is measured and recorded before pouring. Introduction to the fluidity of malleable steel pipe fittings casting
The fluidity of molten iron mainly depends on the carbon equivalent and pouring temperature, and has nothing to do with the shape of graphite. In the case of the same carbon equivalent, there is no significant difference in the fluidity of flake graphite, vermicular graphite and nodular graphite cast iron. However, the carbon equivalent of vermicular graphite cast iron is higher, and its strength is higher than that of high-strength gray cast iron with low carbon equivalent. Therefore, under the same tensile strength, the fluidity of vermicular graphite cast iron is much higher than that of gray cast iron.
From the fluidity test results of various cast irons, it can be seen that even if the pouring temperature of malleable steel pipe fittings is slightly lower than that of alloy cast iron, its fluidity is far greater than that of alloy cast iron. There is not much difference in their mobility.
The first inspection refers to the implementation of the laboratory record mechanism for the element content of each package of molten iron. The geometric dimensions are more precise, the number of threads is more, and the chamfers are more beautiful.
Introduction to the diameter of malleable steel pipe fittings
For pipe fittings with a diameter of more than 254t/tin and above the thread position of the malleable steel pipe fittings, a hidden riser with a diameter 2-4 times that of the feeding heat joint should be set on the parting surface for feeding. Since the wall thickness of malleable iron pipe fittings is relatively thin , the feeding distance of the riser can only reach the hot joint of the thread position associated with it, and cannot reach another thicker thread position across the thin wall. For large parts with a diameter > 76.2MM, two risers must be provided at the thick end of the same thread on the parting surface.
Introduction to Hollow Structure of Malleable Steel Fitting Model
For some simple but large thick castings, such as bulky heads, couplings, anvils, bases, etc., it is a good molding method to adopt a hollow structure. Generally, the upper and lower parts can be covered with plates with a thickness of about 30 mm. The thickness of the surrounding plates should be determined according to the strength of the spring sand. The circumference is bonded with several arc-shaped plastic plates with a thickness of 40-60 mm. up. Castings such as this bulky head and the pillow seat at the back, if the foam plastic model is made solid, it will not only waste material, but also produce a large amount of gas and smoke when pouring, which will affect the quality of the casting. Therefore, the molding form of this hollow structure can be used for the above-mentioned simple shapes and thick-walled casting models with a general wall thickness exceeding 100 mm. In fact, in our solid casting production, the hollow structure is generally inferior to the plastic-wood structure, and it is also an economical and reasonable mold-making structure.
